dc.description.abstract Katsevich algorithm is an exact cone-beam reconstruction algorithm of filtered backprojection (FBP) type. In the paper, a numerical calculation of Katservich algorithm for spherical detector is proposed and its implementation on GPU is given. Compared with the numerical calculation of Katservich algorithm for flat and curved detectors, the step of length correction is eliminated in the paper. It is di cult to meet requirements for the speed and accuracy when CPU is used for reconstruction. GPU is used to implement the Katservich algorithm for flat and spherical detectors in the paper. It is shown that the numerical calculation for spherical detector has higher performance than that for flat detector. en_US
